We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who rely on a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.
What we aim for. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means pages are structured with proper headings and landmarks, every control works from the keyboard with a visible focus, images carry text alternatives, text and background have sufficient contrast, videos have captions, and nothing flashes. We test with a screen reader and keyboard before changes go live.
The accessibility interface. The round button in the corner opens accessiBe’s interface, which lets you adjust text size, spacing, colors and contrast, pause animations, and switch on profiles for screen readers or keyboard use. It’s an aid, not a substitute for the site working on its own.
What’s outside our control. Some parts of your visit happen on other companies’ systems: applying, checking availability and paying rent (RentCafe), video and 3D tours (Vimeo and Matterport), and the accessibility interface itself. We choose partners who publish their own accessibility commitments and pass on any problem you report.
We’re here for you. We keep learning and keep improving. If any part of this site is hard to use because of a disability, or you spot something we should fix, email privacy@cagan.com and tell us the page and what happened. We will provide you with access to all of the information and functionality on this website.
